Upstart is a brand new youth based radio show that openned up in the begginning of 2010. myself and tshego Letsoalo were the first producers of this show. This documents how we went about training and organising the Upstart members. It also shows how we learnt to be more efficient producers, as well as many life lessons along the way.
This is how we started! Our notorious five, (from left) Xolelwa, Werner, Olwethu, Sibusiso and Gcobisa, unfortunately Nontsikulelo was not here on this day.
The team in action
This was one of our focus groups, we set it up in the studio so the team would get comfortable behind a microphone.
